Effective Date: August 7, 2026
Introduction
Arsee App (“Arsee,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is responsible for the personal information described in this Privacy Policy. This policy explains how Arsee handles information when you use the Arsee iOS app, arsee.app, public model links and QR codes, and related services.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Account and Profile Information
When you create or update an account, we may collect:
Your name, email address, profile image, and account preferences
A Firebase user identifier and information returned by the sign-in provider you choose
Authentication and account activity information, such as account creation and last sign-in dates
1.2 Models and Other Content
When you create, upload, save, or share content, we may process:
Generated USDZ and GLB models, preview images, model names, dimensions, file types, file sizes, and creation dates
QR codes, public model links, and optional banner names, images, and destination links
Camera images, selected photos, and LiDAR or Object Capture data used on your device to create a model
Source camera images, selected photos, and LiDAR capture data are processed on your device. Arsee receives the generated model, preview, and related metadata only when you choose to save or upload the model. The generated model or preview may contain visual information from the source captures.
1.3 Subscription and Purchase Information
When you purchase or restore a subscription through Apple, we may receive:
Product, entitlement, renewal, status, environment, and transaction dates
Apple transaction and original transaction identifiers, an app-account token, and verification hashes
Apple processes your payment method and billing details. Arsee does not receive your full payment-card information.
1.4 Device and Diagnostic Information
The app, website, and service providers may automatically collect:
Device type, operating-system and app versions, language, browser or user-agent information, and app or device identifiers
Performance information, crash reports, stack traces, and related diagnostics
Server-request information such as IP address, request time, requested page or endpoint, response status, and security events
For public QR and model links, visit time, browser, operating system, and aggregate scan or view counts
2. How We Use Information
We use the information described above to:
Create and manage your account and authenticate sign-ins
Create, convert, store, display, download, and share models, previews, QR codes, and banners
Verify purchases, provide subscription entitlements, restore purchases, and prevent fraud
Provide customer support and respond to requests
Measure service usage, diagnose crashes, improve reliability, and develop features
Protect users, investigate abuse, secure our services, enforce our terms, and meet legal obligations
3. Permissions and Your Choices
Arsee requests access only when a feature needs it:
Camera and LiDAR access is used to scan objects and capture source images
Photo-library access is used when you select photos for model creation or save a QR code
You can change permissions in iOS Settings, although disabling a permission may prevent the related feature from working
4. Legal Bases
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process personal information based on:
Contract: to provide the features, storage, sharing, and subscription services you request
Consent: when you grant device permissions or make an optional choice that relies on consent
Legitimate interests: to secure, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve Arsee, balanced against your rights
Legal obligations: to comply with law, resolve disputes, and maintain required records
5. How We Share Information
We may share information only as needed with:
Google Firebase for authentication and crash reporting
Apple for Sign in with Apple and App Store subscription processing
Google, Meta/Facebook, or X when you choose that provider to sign in
Cloud hosting, object-storage, database, content-delivery, and security providers that operate Arsee infrastructure
Professional advisers, authorities, or other parties when required by law, needed to protect rights and safety, or involved in a business reorganization
We do not sell personal information or use it to serve Arsee advertising. Service providers that process information on our behalf are expected to protect it and use it only for permitted purposes. Apple, Google, Meta/Facebook, and X may also process information as independent organizations under their own privacy policies when you use their services or choose their sign-in option.
6. Public Model Links and QR Codes
A model link or QR code is designed for sharing. Anyone who has the link or scans the code may be able to view, download, or open the model in an AR viewer, together with its preview and banner information. Do not include personal or confidential information in publicly shared content. You control how the link or QR code is distributed and can remove the model from your account when you no longer want it available.
7. Retention and Deletion
Account and profile information is generally retained while your account remains active
Models, previews, QR links, and banner data are generally retained until you delete the model or your account
Diagnostic, access-log, backup, and security information is retained only for periods reasonably needed for reliability, security, recovery, and legal purposes
Information that has been aggregated or de-identified so it no longer identifies you may be retained
You can delete your Arsee account from within the app. Account deletion removes the Arsee account, Firebase authentication identity, stored models and previews, QR links and scan history, and App Store subscription, transaction, and notification records linked to the account. Arsee does not retain those account-linked authentication or subscription records after deletion. Deleting Arsee does not cancel an active App Store subscription or delete an account you hold directly with Apple, Google, Meta/Facebook, or X. You can manage or cancel an App Store subscription in your Apple account settings.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, including encrypted network connections, access controls, and restricted service credentials. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. International Processing
Arsee’s primary application infrastructure is hosted in Canada. Service providers, including Apple, Google, Meta/Facebook, and X, may process information in Canada, the United States, or other countries where they operate. Those countries may have different privacy laws. Where required, we use appropriate contractual or legal safeguards for transfers.
10. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, applicable law may allow you to:
Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information
Request a copy of your information or ask us to restrict or object to certain processing
Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
Receive equal service and pricing when exercising applicable privacy rights
Complain to the privacy or data-protection authority where you live
You can edit profile information or delete your account in the app. For other requests, email support.arsee.app@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. Because Arsee does not sell personal information or use it to serve Arsee advertising, we do not currently provide a separate sale opt-out. You can control social sign-in and provider processing through iOS or provider settings, or contact us about any opt-out right that applies where you live. Withdrawing consent may prevent us from providing a feature that depends on that information.
11. Children’s Privacy
If you are not old enough to consent to the processing of personal information where you live, use Arsee only with authorization from a parent or legal guardian. If you believe a child provided personal information without appropriate authorization, contact us so we can review and delete it when required.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to Arsee, our providers, or applicable law. We will post the revised policy with a new effective date and, when appropriate, provide additional notice in the app, on the website, or by email.
13. Contact Us
If you have any questions, contact us at:
Effective Date: August 6, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading or using Arsee App, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, discontinue use.
2. User Obligations
Use the app only for lawful purposes.
Do not upload content that infringes on third-party rights or violates laws.
You are responsible for ensuring that any content you share (e.g., QR codes, 3D models) complies with privacy laws.
3. Intellectual Property
4. App Functionality
Arsee App enables the creation, storage, and sharing of 3D models.
QR codes generated in the app allow public access to 3D models. You are responsible for how QR codes are distributed.
5. Subscriptions
Subscription Plans
Arsee App offers three subscription tiers:
20 Models Plan: Store and manage up to 20 models.
200 Models Plan: Store and manage up to 200 models.
Unlimited Plan: Store and manage an unlimited number of models.
Subscriptions are available on a monthly or yearly basis. Yearly subscriptions are offered at a discounted rate compared to monthly plans.
Free Tier Limitations
Without a subscription, users can store up to three models. All other app functionality remains available, including scanning QR codes and viewing models in AR. However, creating a fourth model will prompt an alert suggesting a subscription upgrade.
Subscription Slot Logic
When subscribing, the total storage includes the free slots. For example:
A 20 Models Plan provides 17 additional slots, totaling 20 models.
A 200 Models Plan provides 197 additional slots, totaling 200 models.
Models stored during the free tier will count toward the total available slots in the subscription plan.
Post-Subscription Limitations
If a subscription expires, all QR codes linked to the user’s models will temporarily become inactive. A screen will inform viewers that the model is unavailable and will become accessible again once the subscription is renewed. This limitation applies to all models, including the initial three free models.
Subscription Management and Renewal
Automatic Renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing cycle. Users can manage or cancel subscriptions through their device settings.
Refunds: All subscription fees are non-refundable, and no partial refunds are issued for unused portions of a subscription period.
Subscription Upgrades: Users can upgrade their subscription plan at any time. Upgrading a plan adjusts the storage capacity according to the new plan's terms.
Subscription Downgrades: Downgrading is effective at the end of the current billing cycle. Users must adjust their stored models to fit the limitations of the new plan before the downgrade becomes active.
6. Limitation of Liability
7. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate access if you misuse the app or violate these terms.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada, and any disputes will be resolved in Canadian courts.
9. Updates to Terms
We may modify these Terms of Service periodically. Continued use of the app indicates acceptance of updates.
10. Account Deletion
Users have the option to delete their accounts at any time. By confirming the deletion of an account:
The Arsee account, Firebase authentication identity, stored models and previews, QR codes and scan history, and App Store subscription, transaction, and notification records linked to the account will be deleted and will not be retained by Arsee.
This action is irreversible. Deleted models and account data cannot be restored, subject to the limited log and backup retention described in the Privacy Policy.
Deleting an Arsee account does not cancel an active App Store subscription. Users must manage or cancel the subscription separately in their Apple account settings.
It is the user's responsibility to export any models or data they want to keep before proceeding with deletion.
